Many of African South African, especially from disadvantaged communities we do not have access to an adequate education. Yet, we still do not understand the importance of education in life, as the venom injected in our memories during the colonialist government persists. This leaves us increasingly poor, and poor and poor again.
We cannot ignore that this venom has majorly developed a sequence of unsuitable behaviours such as crime, rape, xenophobic attacks…
“Although the crime rate has stabilized and declined in the past year through South Africa’s efforts, the country still has one of the highest crime rates in the world. Surveys reveal consistently that people do not feel safe in their homes, cars, or on the streets. This weakens support for South Africa’s democracy.”

We need to come to our conscience, as at the end of day we are all affected, our economy and our environment included. An effort by means of an adequate education will help to cleanse our memories poisoned, and to improve our knowledge as well as our standard of living.
As the prophet Hosea said ''My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee,'' (Hosea 4:6).
